Location: Located in the local community of Agnanta, the seat of the former Municipality of the same name, and more specifically in the Central Square of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, next to the corresponding church. It is housed in a building that housed the old town hall.

Establishment: Founded and organized by the Historical and Folklore Society of Tzoumerka, to collect, preserve, and exhibit all kinds of folklore material related to the cultural and spiritual tradition of Tzoumerka, following the statutory goals of the Society. The museum was inaugurated in 2009.

Permanent Exhibition: Its permanent exhibition includes over 530 objects. All the exhibits are chronologically placed in the 19th and 20th centuries and come from donations from the inhabitants of Tzoumerka. They are representative samples of Tzoumerkiote culture in all its aspects, as it was shaped during the pre-industrial way of life and production, e.g. agricultural or livestock utensils, woodcarving, embroidery and weaving works and tools, household utensils, and appliances, traditional musical instruments, costumes, and clothing, as well as pottery. Of particular interest are the small independent sections with the characteristic objects of certain professionals, e.g. the tailor, the cafe owner, the barber. The collection is complemented by handmade hydro-powered miniatures depicting the watermill, watermill, and mangers.

Significance: The Folklore Museum of Tzoumerka guides the visitor to a pleasant and direct acquaintance, without distortion or embellishment, with the local history, the special culture, the daily life and the diverse traditions of the area. Its exhibits have been studied by researchers, students and postgraduate students of folklore, some of whom have also carried out related work.
